SHE BELIEVED SHE COULD SO SHE DID. Words to hold on to while I try to convince the world it wants to buy my products. I believe that they are different and worth possessing. I think that my bags are quirky and unusual. Plus I really enjoy making them.

Bags and Blueberry snickerdoodles
Finished the bag I was making - this time I used some stickers instead of stamping images on them. This has given a interesting 3D effect. I will use stickers again as I really liked the result. My friend loved her bag and is talking about getting me to make some for her grand- daughters.

Feeling better and ready to craft
Just after my trip to Pegwell Bay with my sister the cold that had been lurking in the background decided to take over - and how. I dont remember ever being so ill with a cold, I even had time off work - something I very rarely do. I didnt eat and all I really did was sleep. But that is done now. I still have a few snuffles but pretty much I feel better. So back to living.
I made a start over the weekend on the recipe books for my Niece and Nephew, and I have a photo bag two thirds done for a friend who liked mine and wanted one of their own. I also have a bag half made to go onto my Etsy shop - this one has a picture of my parteners Mercury cougar ( a most beautiful car). I have so many ideas tumbling over themselves in my head and only so many hours in the day to do anything about it. The little bit of daylight that we currently have after coming home from work was spent cutting wood for the stove. My partener has found a custom staircase builder near to where he works and has permission to take wood from their skip. Great news as fuel prices go up and up - the free wood to burn will help kill the bills down.
I have wasted some happy time on PINTREST this evening looking at lovely food and following the links to the blogs and sites where the recipes are listed. I am really looking forward to trying them out. There is the added bonus of other recipes on the blogs. Cant wait.

Cook books for Christmas
I have started the cookery books that I am making for my niece and nephew for Christmas. The recipes that I am included are copied out, there are lots of spare pages for them to add their own recipes, and I have designed the front title pages on Serif Craft Artist. Just need to get those printed and cut out then laminated.
I will add photos when they are closer to being finished.
I need to work out some dividers to seperate the groups of recipes. For that I may just put labels on the the dividers so they can title their own groupings.
Hope they like them.

digital scrapbooking and cardmaking
Have you tried using SERIF digital scrapbooking and/or SERIF digital artist. As their names suggest one is mainly for scrapbooking and the other for cardmaking. The compact versions are free and available on the DAISY TRAIL website, there are also a few kits that are free to download. There are a lot of kits to buy when you get hooked.
Digital crafting means little mess, always having the right colour, the right size. You can rotate, create mirror images. Intellegent photo frames mean just the area of a picture that you want - even some of those not so good photos get a new lease of life.
I have just made some placemats for my friends four year old son ( who is crazy about dinosaurs) one where he is coaxing a TRex with a bit of seaweed and one with him and a triceratops. The DAISY TRAIL website also has members work uploaded - there are some very talented people.

oh I forgot to say there is also a shadow tool that is great fun and......................but you get the picture.
